Myanmar Real Property Development Association (MRPDA) provides the MRPDA mobile application and related web services for association members, applicants, staff, and approved real estate sector users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how users may contact us about privacy requests.

- Account and membership information such as name, member number, email address, phone number, profile photo, membership status, and professional details.

- Training, certificate, CPD, renewal, payment, receipt, and transaction reference information used for association services.

- Technical and usage data such as device type, IP address, server logs, error logs, request time, app version, and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.
How We Use Information
MRPDA uses collected information to:
- Provide membership, training, certificate, CPD, renewal, payment, complaint, property listing, directory, notification, and communication services.
- Verify user identity, protect accounts, prevent misuse, and maintain the security of the association platform.
- Process member requests, display member profiles, provide support, and communicate service updates.
- Improve app functionality, troubleshoot errors, maintain records, and comply with association governance or applicable legal requirements.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only when necessary to operate MRPDA services, respond to user requests, comply with legal obligations, protect the rights and safety of users, or work with trusted service providers who support hosting, maintenance, communication, and technical operations.
User-Generated Content and Public Information
Some features, such as member directory entries, property listings, public resources, complaints, training records, and chat or notification workflows, may display information to other authorized users or to the public depending on the service context and approval status. Users should submit only information they are authorized to provide.
Data Retention
MRPDA keeps information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain membership and association records, resolve disputes, meet legal or operational requirements, and protect the integrity of the platform. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or restrict it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
Children's Privacy
The MRPDA app and services are intended for association members, applicants, staff, and professional users. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Choices and Requests
Users may request help with accessing, correcting, or deleting personal information, subject to membership recordkeeping, legal, security, and operational requirements. Users may also stop using the app or contact MRPDA to request account support.
